Slowfold is a quiet breathing companion for iPhone and iPad, made by Gimlet Tannery. The short version: the app does not collect, transmit or share any personal data.

What stays on your device

To show your streak and recent sessions, Slowfold keeps a small file inside the app's private storage on your device. It holds:

• the date of each session (no time of day), the rhythm you used and how long you practised;
• your settings, such as theme, sound cues, haptics and reminder time.

This file never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and it is not linked to any name, account or device identifier.

What we do not do

• No account or sign-in.
• No analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
• No third-party SDKs or services.
• No network requests. Slowfold works fully offline.

Daily reminder

If you switch on the optional daily reminder, iOS asks for permission to show notifications. The reminder is scheduled locally on your device. No server is involved and nothing is sent anywhere. You can turn it off in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings at any time.

Deleting your data

Open Settings → About → Reset all data in the app to clear your history and settings. Deleting the app also removes everything it stored.

Children

Slowfold is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
